Rooms before bills
The room sets the temperature. We programme for the space, not against it.
Panggung is a fictional live entertainment group in Jakarta. The concept starts with the room and works outward: the stage, the programme, the street, and the walk home.
The shape of a room decides what can happen inside it. A low ceiling makes a crowd lean in. A deep stage gives a performer somewhere to disappear. A rooftop keeps the city in the frame.
Panggung is a design concept for a live group that treats those details as the product. The site is not a real operator, and it does not claim a roster, a client list, or a history.
The concept is also a test of a different kind of culture website: one that feels like a poster, moves like a night, and still makes the practical information easy to find.

The room sets the temperature. We programme for the space, not against it.
Technical planning starts with the idea, not after the budget is fixed.
A venue is a public room. The entrance, the queue, and the walk home matter.
A good night has a shape, not a script. The best room is one that can change its mind.
